Dr. Sydney K. Seymour
Founder & President
Dr. Sydney K. Seymour has 30+ years multi-disciplinary experience with leadership roles in Engineering and Manufacturing Operations, Technology & Process Development, and R&D in the Manufacturing, Food, Biotechnology and Biopharmaceutical industries with companies with a global footprint. He has extensive experience in quality measurement technologies and standards. Throughout his career, he has formulated, led and implemented manufacturing operations and solutions including a $19 million USD / 55,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility / 44,000 sq. ft greenhouse thereby coordinating multiple engineering disciplines from architectural and process design, to construction, equipment specifications, vendor qualification, plant startup and operations. Dr. Seymour holds 12 US Patents and 1 International Patent in diverse manufacturing applications. Dr. Seymour maintains a good balance of leadership, business and technical skills. He also combines his experience in Lean 6 Sigma, Change Management and Project Management to help his clients plan and execute capital projects, close the technical skills gap, and achieve sustainable improvements. Dr. Seymour earned Bachelors, Masters, and Ph.D. degrees in Biological and Agricultural Engineering from NC State University at Raleigh, North Carolina, USA. He has served on the Industrial Advisory Boards (Chairman) of the Dept. of Biological and Agricultural Engineering, NC State Univ. and the Dept. of Biosystems Engineering, NC Agricultural & Technical State University. He has also served on American Society of Testing Materials (ASTM) International Technical Committee - Manufacture of Pharmaceutical Products. Dr. Seymour also owns and operates an agricultural enterprise in North Carolina.

Dr. Earl White
Sr. Consultant Process Analytical Technology
Dr. White’s career in biotechnology and biopharmaceutical research and development spans over 40 years and includes technical and executive leadership roles.
Dr. White received the B.S. and M.S degrees in chemistry from Jackson State University in Jackson, MS and his Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, NC where he specialized in mass spectrometry. He began his career as a forensic toxicologist with the University of Mississippi Med Center/MS State Crime Laboratory. Following the completion of his Ph.D., he joined RJ Reynolds Tobacco Co. until 1998 when Dr. White accepted a position with Large Scale Biology Corporation (LSBC) as a Senior Scientist. There he established The Analytical Center of Excellence and was subsequently promoted to Director of Advanced Analytical Resources and Quality Control for LSBC's Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (NHL) cancer vaccines program, the company's first clinical product candidate. In 2002, he was appointed Vice President, Advanced Analytical Sciences. In addition to his role as Vice President of Advance Analytical Sciences for LSBC and Predictive Diagnostics, Inc. (PDI). From July 2007 until 2008 Dr. White served as Vice President, Analytical and Pharmaceutical Sciences for Integrated Biomolecule Corporation. Dr. White founded MDx Laboratory, Inc. in 2008 drawing upon his experience to focus his expertise in the field of biomolecular characterization. He later accepted a position as Director of Quality Labs with Caliber Biotherapeutics and served as Director of R&D/Quality Labs until the facility was acquired by iBio where he served as VP of R&D. In addition to his career in the private sector Dr. White served and retired from the US Army Reserve after over 34 years achieving the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.
